A Brief, Totally Inconclusive Bio
I’m a filmmaker and multi-disciplinary artist working between Toronto and Montreal, Canada. Though I have been freelancing as a photographer for 4 years, film and video lie in the center of my dear heart, taking up most of my attention since completing my undergraduate degree in 2021 (yikes)!
My interests lie strongly in eco-cinema, the ways we can vulnerably portray the ever shifting nature-human binary and what that can look like on a visual level. My studies in International Development at McGill University have left me with an itch to use my creative skillset at a grassroots level, advocating for marginalized ways of knowing and seeing the world.
When not fretting over every word I’ve ever written, I’m either developing my current brain baby, Pavilion (a digital publishing space for artists to read, learn and contribute to the conversation of what it means to be an artist who suffers and gets tired sometimes) OR I’m directing & coordinating project-focused deliverables for artists from other disciplines who inspire me (music videos, album covers, live performances, etc. you know the drill).
